Tamir & Co., founded by the late Minister of Justice Shmuel Tamir, is a boutique law firm, with vast experience in the field of complex Litigation, Commercial Law, Inheritance law and Banking. The firm specializes in representing international high net worth families from all over the world.

The firm, which is led for the last thirty years by Adv. Joseph Tamir, provides tailor made legal solutions in the highest standards, adapted to the needs of our clients. Family Law and Inheritance

Tamir & Co. has been involved in complex inheritance cases of large scales, involving foreign legal ramifications. The firm has proven excellent results in this field, which also derive from deep understanding of the need to adapt to specific strategies, as well as understanding the commercial and tax ramifications of potential settlements in this special area of practice.
We also advise high net worth families and individuals regarding the preparation of wills and trusts, related tax ramifications and prenup agreements.

Real Estate

The firm has extensive experience in handling both purchase and sale of high end real estate assets, owned by both local and foreign clientele. Our firm extends intensive and close guidance relating to all related aspects, such as capital gain tax and betterment tax as well as thorough due diligence process.

Banking

Tamir & Co has been successfully representing local and foreign clients in “voluntary disclosure” process before the Israeli Tax Authority in order to minimize the tax ramifications.
The representation includes, in many cases, handling the process of transferring the funds from foreign financial institutions and banks into Israel, all per Israeli Law and banking regulation.

Adv. Joseph Tamir

Adv. Joseph Tamir, senior partner (LL.B Hebrew University, LL.M Bar Ilan University) has thirty years experience in handling complex Commercial and Inheritance Litigation as well as legal issues pertaining to International Law, such as high end Real Estate transactions and multinational banking.

Until recently Joseph was a senior partner in the prestigious firm “Haim Zadok and Co.”.

Joseph also served as a director at the Israel Bar Association and as such was a member of its Ethics Committee, chaired its Real Estate committee and was the founder of the Trust Committee.

Joseph Tamir participated in the writing of the Israeli Chapter in several leading International Law Journals in the field of Corporate Governance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Joseph is the author of a number of legal text books including “Corporate Law and Ethics” and the editor of the “Tamir Book” written by prominent Israeli Supreme Court Judges, in memory of the late Shmuel Tamir, Joseph’s father and the Minister of Justice

Adv. Einat Tamir

With over 20 years legal experience, Einat Kolski Tamir Adv. is an advisor associate in the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department.
Einat advises international and domestic companies, including venture capital funds and technological companies through all phases of their development, starting from of establishment to capital raising, mergers and acquisitions. Her practice includes, inter alia, complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, drafting and negotiating technology and commercial transactions and capital financing.

Adv. Efrat Sanzer

holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from Tel Aviv University and is a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2004 and a certified notary since 2014.

Efrat specializes in commercial civil litigation in a wide range of civil disputes, with an emphasis on corporate law, real estate and inheritance law and provides ongoing legal advice to the firm’s cliental in Israel and abroad.

Efrat is a graduate of Translation and Editing Studies program from Tel Aviv University, and a member of the Israel Translators Association (ITA). Efrat has also a good command in French and Italian.

Adv. Ori Zilber

specialises in commercial litigation and has vast experience in complex inheritance cases, as well as consulting entrepreneurs and businessmen.

Adv. Zilber holds a bachelor’s degree in law (with honours) and a master’s degree in commercial law (Tel Aviv University, cum laude).

Adv. Zilber also has a master’s degree in business administration (Bar Ilan University) and a bachelor’s degree in economics and management. In addition he is a graduate of appraisal and real estate management studies (Tel Aviv University).

Adv. Zilber has extensive experience and a deep understanding in the fields of entrepreneurship and accompanying real estate transactions of all kinds.

Mrs. Anat Uzan

has 25 years of experience in managing law firms

Anat serves as the office manager at Tamir & Co. and a personal assistant to Adv. Tamir.
